Sikaflex 298FC is a slightly thixotropic, polyurethane-based adhesive, a single component that cures with atmospheric moisture to form a durable elastomer. Sikaflex 298FC meets the requirements of the International Maritime Organisation.

Sikaflex 298FC is suitable for bonding composite and resin (other than polyethylene, polypropylene) deck coverings and for laying and sealing wood planks such as teak on the deck surface. Suitable substrates include GRP, marine plywood, corrosion resistant coated aluminium (epoxy or polyurethane-acrylic based) and stainless steel. Sikaflex 298FC is a faster version compared to Sikaflex 298 in terms of skin build time. Please note the shorter skin build time when used in high temperatures and/or high relative humidity.
