Imprewood is a polyurethane impregnation resin for hardening wood and promoting the adhesion of primer or top coats. Formulated to penetrate deep into the pores of the surface, this highly fluid resin is applied to new or stripped bare wood, and must be covered with a varnish or single-component primer such as Starwood or P1.

Imprewood fills the microporosities in the substrate to obtain a uniform base.
