Epoxygard is a two-component epoxy primer used for hull protection and adhesion of antifouling paints. It offers very high protection against humidity. Primers play an essential role in adhesion or protection through their hardness or barrier effect.

Epoxygard is applied to a sound substrate in thin coats no thicker than 130µm. Its formulation has been optimised to provide a long covering time without sanding. This epoxy primer can also be applied above the waterline as an undercoat for topcoats.
