3M’s unique Trizact technology utilises a pyramid structure of multiple layers of fine grade abrasive mineral particles. Patterned, precise mineral structures give Trizact abrasives the combination of fast cut and consistent finish every time. Use P1000 foam blending discs for scuff sanding blend panels prior to painting. Use P1500 clear coat sanding discs for leveling dust nibs and sanding of mismatched orange peel. Finally, use P3000 foam disc for removing P1200-P1500 grade sand scratches prior to use of 3M Perfect-It polishing system. 3M Trizact Fine Finishing Disc P6000 is designed for refining scratches made by P2500/P3000 grade abrasive. Used damp and followed by 3M compounds abrasive scratches will not re-appear.

Trizact 1000

• Designed for scuffing blend panels, texture matching orange peel, and removing fine grade sand scratches prior to paint blending.
• Always used damp, they eliminate the need for scuffing compounds and wet sanding abrasives.
• Foam backing provides plenty of control and consistent contact with the surface.
• Being flexible, they scuff into valleys as well as tops of orange peeled textures without excessive leveling.
• Produces a dense scratch pattern in blend areas, eliminating all shiny spots and leaving a matte finish.

Trizact 1500

• Use to level dirt nibs and refine sanding scratches.
  Always use damp.
• Film backing offers tear-resistant durability and flexibility for sanding uneven automotive surfaces.
• Hookit attachment system allows for fast, easy changeouts with Hookit™ abrasive discs, disc pads, and soft interface pads.

Trizact 3000

• Designed to refine 1500- and 2000 grade sand scratches and thus reducing overall finishing time.
• Always used damp, they deliver long life and less loading than dry sanding.
• Foam backing provides plenty of control and consistent contact with the surface.
• Suitable for both machine and hand applications. When using a dual-action sander, make at least five passes with 50% overlap.
• Reduce the need for aggressive compounding with 3000-grade 3M Trizact Hookit Foam Abrasive Sheets for paint finishing.
• Compared to traditional compounding, using 3M Trizact Abrasives for removing sand scratches can reduce the possibility of swirl marks, burn through, and other defects caused by more aggressive processes.
  Allows technicians to refine paint scratches using a lighter orbital sander instead of a heavier polisher

Trizact 6000

• Designed to refine 3000 grade sand scratches and thus reducing overall finishing time.
• Always used damp, they deliver long life and less loading than dry sanding.
• Allows technicians to refine paint scratches using a lighter dual-action sander instead of a heavier polisher.
• These 6000-grade foam discs are used as the next step after 3M Trizact 3000-grade sanding to further reduce the time required for compounding.
  Compared to traditional buffing, using 3M Trizact Abrasives for removing sand scratches can reduce the possibility of heavy swirl marks, burn through, and other defects caused by more aggressive processes.

Trizact 8000

• Eliminate or significantly reduce the compounding process by using 8000-grade 3M Trizact Hookit Foam Abrasive Discs before you polish.
  Always used damp, they deliver long life and less loading than dry sanding.
• Use 3M Trizact 8000-grade Foam Discs for refining 3000-grade and finer sand scratches on painted surfaces.
• Get a smooth, consistent finish with a sander — spending less time using a heavy polisher.
• Reduce your overall finishing time when you use our 8000-grade abrasives with other 3M Trizact Abrasives and one of the 3M Perfect-It Paint Finishing Systems.
