There are many types of detergents in the range of MATT CHEM. They have each one their specificity. Depending on the state of souling of the deck and hull, you will choose a strongly powerful grease-remover or a universal shampoo foaming. GREASE REMOVERS (when the boat is very dirty)
TOP JOB: Powerful degreaser for hull and deck. TOP JOB provides rapid cleaning and degreasing. It has been designed for cleaning boats on a daily basis. It removes perfectly grease, oil and tar marks on gelcoat and paint and it does not alter the paintwork in any way. It contains neither silicone, nor solvents and it is a highly concentrated product which can be mixed with water. It works even with very hard water.
Instructions of use: Dilution: 5 to 10 corks of product for 10 litres of water. Rub the hull, then rinse.
SPRAY WASH: It is a very concentrated multi-purpose degreaser. It removes grease, oil, grime, black streaks, fish blood and dirt from gelcoat, painted surfaces, vinyl, plastic… It does not leave any trace deposits on treated surfaces. SPRAY WASH is biodegradable. It is ideal for boats, jet skis, trailers, caravans… SPRAY WASH disinfects and deodorizes too! It kills germs and odor causing bacteria. It prevents the growth of mold and mildew.
Instructions of use: Apply directly on soiled surface with a soft sponge. Let act a few minutes. Rub if necessary. Rinse with clear water. To disinfect, let act the product between 45 seconds to 3 minutes.
ENZY WASH: Concentrated enzymatic shampoo for hull and deck. Strong wetting capacity and degreasing power, RAPID and effective action to degrade naturally dirts. Does not leave any trace deposits, nor any marks on the paintwork or fiberglass. Can be diluted in any proportion in either soft or salt water Must be diluted before use: 100ml of shampoo for 5 litres of water. May be used regularly for the cleaning of the hull without risk of attack of the gelcoat or paint.
Instructions of use: Apply with a sponge or a soft brush. Let act 5 minutes. Rub and rinse.
CHALKEX: It is a pickle liquid with stabilized acid with quick action. CHALKEX is a powerful pickle containing corrosion inhibitors. CHALKEX removes barnacles, zebra mussels, algae, scum lines quickly and easily. CHALKEX is a biodegradable formula. CHALKEX is especially studied for a fast and effective pickle of propellers, propellers shaft and hulls.
Instructions of use: It is a product ready to use. Just spray on and let act a few minutes. Then rinse with the water jet. If it is necessary, renew the operation.
CRAQUY: It is a ready to use gel. Its action is slower than that of the CHALKEX. In fact, its action time can vary from 20 minutes to several hours depending of the state of the barnacles. It has the advantage of being in jelly, which avoids the run-outs. Pickles perfectly the propellers, the saft gears, the base plates and the hulls. Makes it possible to pickle the inflatables without any attack of PVC, hypalon or néoprene. As it is a freezing, does not make streaks. Removes barnacles, zebra mussels and algae easily.
Instructions of use: Apply CRAQUY with a brush or a roller paint. Let act 20 minutes to several hours. Rinse with a water jet or a water compressor.
SHAMPOOS (for the daily maintenance of the boat)
KLINCARE: It is a concentrated shampoo for hull and deck. KLINCARE perfectly removes grease, oil and tar marks on gelcoat and paint. It contains neither silicone, nor solvents. It does not leave any aureole on the support cleaned after the rinsing. It is a neutral preparation which makes it possible to easily clean gelcoat and paint. It does not attack the skin. It is manufactured from ingredients chosen for their biodegradability and their compatibility with the environment. It can be used regularly for the cleaning of the hull without risk of attack of the gelcoat or paint.
Instructions of use: It must be diluted before use. 6 cups of product for 1 litre of water. Apply with a sponge or a soft brush and rinse.
PROTECTIVE SHAMPOOS (for bringing back brightness at each cleaning)
KLINPERL: It leaves a protective coating of wax on treated surface and protects against salt, sun, and weathering. Safe for light alloys, stainless, polycarbonate, anodized aluminum, rubber, specific painting, or gelcoat and free from silicone. KLINPERL can be diluted in any proportion in either soft or salt water.
Instructions of use: First, clean with clear water. Dilute 3 to 4 cups for 5 litres of water. Apply with a brush or a sponge. Rub and rinse.
