Provides total descaling in complete safety of all calcerous deposits in heat exchangers, condensors, evaporators, refrigeration circuits and «food» circuits. Does not affect ferrous metals. For all other metals such as copper, aluminium, brass and chrome one must rinse generously after use. Does not affect plastics and rubber materials.
1st stage : descaling : Dilute 3% of D.K.L.4 in soft water (i.e. 3 litres for 100 litres of water). The solution is red color. Turn the engine for 15 to 30 minutes maximum supervising T degree of the engine. As the solution will take care of limestone, its color will transfer to yellow. Do not drain the circuit.
2nd Stage : Control: Start again the operation with a new solution by using the rest of product. Turn the engine for a few minutes. If the solution remains red, it means that descaling is finished. If not, turn the solution in the circuit for 15 to 30 minutes. Drain and rinse the circuit.
In the same way, it is possible to carry out the descaling of an outboard engine. For the descaling of the parts, dilure 1 litre of product in 5 litres of water. Immerse the parts which are higly scaled in the solution of D.K.L.4 The reaction time will be more or less (a few hours) according to the state of clogging of the parts. Then rinse.
For the descaling of the food circuits (water pipeline…) : D.K.L.4 is diluted: 1 volume for 5 to 6 volumes of water. Let act the solution approximately 1 hour then rinse abundantly.
