OUR HISTORY

The company was founded in 1983 with the aim of distributing innovative technical materials in the shipping market. From then until now, the range of the company is enriched with hundreds of new materials, which targets as much to the marine industry as to the industrial one, resulting to the transformation of ANAGNOSTOPOULOS to an authorized distributor of products of leading companies in the market field.

The high-leveled technical knowledge of the people of our company and the direct collaboration with the shipyards, engineering companies, and the final customer, guarantees the selection of appropriate materials and the efficient method of technical applications.

From 1983 and during the course of time, with technical knowledge, reliability and expertise as key elements, the company ANAGNOSTOPOULOS through its main shop in Athens is an authorized distributor as well as an importer of specialized companies in the field of marine and industrial products such as those of Sika, 3M, Festool, Everbuild, Meguiar’s, Loctite, Nautix, Matt Chem, Deckmate, Comfort Seat, Toubois, Meluton, Polymarine, Proople, Soromap, Lancelin, Typhoon, Neil Pryde, Boatasy and Sandiline.

In 2012 ANAGNOSTOPOULOS expands its activity by inaugurating a retail – chandlery branch in Thessaloniki equipped with the distributing products of the main shop as well as with additional brands such as Jabsco, Rule, Rocna, Vulcan, Shurhold, Harken, Spinlock, Polyform, Barton, Wichard, Lofrans’, Max Power, Mercury, Plastimo, SpxFlow, Lenco, Indel Webasto, Zipwake, Glomex, Dolphin, Besenzoni, Kaya, Holt, Aqualuma, Vigouroux, Atwood, Vector, Igloo, Osculati, Opacmare, Quicksilver, Ultraflex, Victron Energy, Vitrifrigo and Whale, in order to cover all the needs for the boat which are related to the field of repair and maintenance.

In 2014, the company also takes action in the field of sailing, making the company’s first participation in an official match with the sailboat “Tamumm”. Until today, the sailboat “Tamumm” participates in races using the experience and technical knowledge of ANAGNOSTOPOULOS for her navigation, repair and maintenance. The proudest moments of Tamumm are the 1st place at the European Championship 2018 (Corinthian category), the 1st place at the Greek Championship Open Sea 2018 and the 2nd place at the Aegean Regatta 2017.
