Description
The INFLATABLE PAINT is a single-component elastomer paint. It is suitable for use on neoprene, rubberized fabric, PVC and Hypalon. It has excellent flexibility and good adhesion. It also has very good resistance to the marine atmosphere, to immersion in fresh and salt water, and to ultraviolet radiation.
Instructions of use
Cleaning required to MEK before applying the first layer. De-grease and wash, then rinse with water. Careful sanding using a 150-grade abrasive is necessary (especially for boats other than PVC). Then wipe with a damp cloth to remove all traces of dust.
Carefully mix the product before application. Given the particular characteristics of this paint applied with a brush or spray using, if necessary, Thinner for Inflatable Paint paint thinner tire up to 5% maximum volume for brush application and up to 20% for an application gun. Deflate the inflatable to 80% of the volume. Apply one coat diluted with thinner by 5-10 %. Inflate to 100 % of the volume to allow drying (6h minimum). Deflate lightly to apply a second coat and inflate again for drying (24h).
