Description
EpoxyGard is a two component epoxy primer with a high protection capacity providing outstanding adhesion and protection characteristics over fiberglass or metal substrates. EpoxyGard creates a protection coat very resistant to abrasion and very efficient against moisture penetration. Easy to use, EpoxyGard is recommended for high level protection below and above the waterline. Formulation has been optimized to offer a long overcoating period provided that surface is kept clean. EpoxyGard could be overcoated by itself after several days without sanding. Antifouling can be applied on top of EpoxyGard without sanding in the overcoating time table preconized interval, maximum 24h. EpoxyGard has been developed for underwater applications, in 1 coat to allow antifouling adhesion or in 5 coats to prevent osmosis on a clean hull.
